The Sepang Warehouse was designed as a logistics facility with a focus on form exploration due to its simple spatial requirements. Inspired by the trapezium-shaped floor plan, the building features a slanted roof strategically oriented for optimal sun exposure and efficient rainwater collection. The unique design introduced construction challenges, particularly with its varied roof planes. Close collaboration with the contractor was key to successfully realizing the complex structure. As it took shape, the dynamic form of the warehouse resembled a roller coaster, creating a striking and memorable architectural presence that blends functionality with bold, expressive design.
