A humble senior couple who had purchased a new single-storey detached house at Bandar Eco Setia, approached us to design and reimagine it as a cosy retirement home for a family of 3.

In “Family Square”, the design transforms the open courtyard of an existing U-shaped home into a central living space, one that still feels like an outdoor garden but functions as the heart of the home. The idea is to blend indoor comfort with the ambience of open-air garden living, while celebrating the intimacy of the original U-shaped layout.
